The NHS through the National Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP) offers a programme for everyone with blood sugar levels that are higher than normal, but not quite high enough to be diagnosed with Diabetes – a middle range known as Pre-Diabetes.
The National Diabetes Prevention Programme, run by a company called Healthier You, offers a proven, structured approach that gives people the information they need to make diet and lifestyle changes aimed at reducing their blood sugar levels. However, those who complete the programme also see a range of other benefits – including weight loss, improved heart health, and more.
