Faye Collins

Nurse manager

I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in Leicestershire in 1999 and later that year joined the Royal Air Force. During my military career I served overseas during Gulf War 2, gaining extensive experience in acute and high-pressure clinical environments. In 2004, I transitioned to civilian practice, joining Hampshire Police as a Custody Nurse. I later moved into advanced practice and leadership roles, and I am currently an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Manager at Watership Down Health.

Alongside my clinical role, I worked for North and Mid Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group and subsequently the Integrated Care Board as Clinical Lead for Prevention over the last ten years. I am now moving into the field of research with Watership Down Health, focusing on improving preventative and long-term condition care.

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, I am often the first point of contact for patients presenting with undiagnosed conditions. I provide assessment, advice, and ongoing support within nurse-led long-term condition clinics. As an independent prescriber, I manage both acute and long-term conditions, prescribing medications where clinically appropriate. My particular clinical interests include prevention and diabetes care.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, swimming, coaching water polo, and attending live music events.

Rhianna England

Treatment Room Nurse

I trained as an Adult Nurse at the University of Southampton between 2019 and 2021, gaining valuable clinical experience working across Basingstoke, Winchester, and Andover Hospitals, as well as within community healthcare settings. After qualifying as a Registered Nurse, I worked at Basingstoke Hospital within acute and specialist services, including the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit and Gynaecological Assessment Unit, where I developed strong skills in delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care.

In 2022, I undertook a Master’s level Midwifery conversion course for Registered Nurses at Kingston University, qualifying as a Midwife in 2024. This training further strengthened my ability to provide holistic care, support patients, and families through important life stages, and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Following a short career break, I joined the Watership Down Health team in January 2026 as a Treatment Room Nurse.  I am passionate about delivering high-quality, inclusive care and building supportive relationships with patients and their families.
