We have been informed via our system suppliers EMIS of:
- Changes to Patient Access log-in process
Publish Date: 06/03/2024 19:42:39 GMT
EMIS has made a change to the way users log in to Patient Access to improve security. Users will now need to input a one-time passcode (OTP) that is sent via SMS to their registered mobile number, alongside their log-in credentials.
EMIS have communicated with users who do not have a registered mobile number on their account about this change, but EMIS are aware that some users may not have updated their accounts in preparation or may struggle adjusting to the new process. EMIS will be updating guidance on the Patient Access website to support users.
Some patients may need to request for their account key to be reset or new linkage codes if they are unable to access their account.
NB. Users that live in England and have an NHS Login may be able to sign in with that via the Patient Access sign-in page.
