Thank you for your part in our collective response to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The Community response and support has been amazing. We feel very fortunate to be part of such a network.
Thank you all for the lovely messages, cards, Facebook posts, goodies, essential PPE supplies, scrubs and comments of support for our team. They mean such a lot and are warmly appreciated.
Collaborative working between the NHS, the voluntary sector, social care and our patients has been one of the silver linings of the Covid-19 Pandemic and like so many others, we have had to transform quickly.
We want to update you on the steps we have taken to protect you and our team in this challenging time. We are very much here for you, especially supporting our most vulnerable patients who are shielding. Our practice has worked closely with neighbouring practices in the North Hampshire area, our hospitals, North Hampshire Urgent Care and 111.
Together we have set up and staffed a Covid-19 Assessment Centre and Home Visiting Service with clinicians from all the local practices. Both these services are working well and accessed via the practice.
Routine non-Covid care, treatment of long term conditions and screening services like childhood immunisations remain important to us all. We welcome the use of electronic consultations via our website and video consultations. Thank you for adapting the way you access us. Of course, some people still need to be seen face to face. These appointments are currently being provided safely at our Overton and Kingsclere sites after a triage process. In time, we will once again make use of all three of our sites.
Please remember we are here for you. We are working differently and together to keep everyone safe and in line with the motto ‘Stay Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives’.
