Kingsclere Health Centre has its own dispensary, run by the Practice.

The reception staff deal with enquiries and requests for repeat medication.

Medications are only dispensed for those patients who live more than a mile from a retail pharmacy – this ruling is set by NHSE and the Health Centre is in an approved rural location.

The dispensary is open from 8am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday except bank holidays.

Urgent Prescription Requests

Are requested over the telephone, the patient will be advised if the medication is available ie in stock on the shelf and the receptionist will confirm when the medication will be available for collection.
